MGB Facilities expand rental range

MGB Facilities, the Leeds-based rental specialists, have added the Egripment Pack-Track and focus dollies to their rental range.
The new track system is flexible, lightweight and adaptable for demanding location shoots. The Egripment Pack-Track can be built in a few minutes and, although light, provides a smooth and silent camera travel base.
MGB Facilities, formed in 1995, was developed with the aim to become an independent digital facility offering competitive services in camera rental, computer graphics and digital editing.
The camera rental department has gained an industry-wide reputation for supplying professional equipment and crews throughout the country. In addition to production equipment, MGB also offer hi-tech back up for filmmakers in the form of a sophisticated computer graphics department. The company have built their software suite around industry-standard technology such as Paintbox Express, SGI Octane loaded with Softimage 3D Extreme SGI Indigo and Pandemonium and Matador, and Avid's Elastic Reality. The suite is staffed by an experienced team of graphic artists, 3D animators, and website designers.
MGB Facilities also have a fully loaded Quantel Editbox – a powerful digital Betacam suite, newly installed digital CAR and multi-format transfer bay and bulk duplication.
Supplementing these facilities are the Avid off and on-line suites, S-VHS off-line suite, viewing and meeting rooms which comprise an alternative to London-based outlets.
