The Joint Join Gorilla Group

Soho post production house The Joint is set to join the Cardiff-based Gorilla Group.
The Joint's management and creative team will remain in place and lead the company's future developments, assisted by the technical backup of Gorilla.
Since launching in 2011 the Gorilla Group has grown considerably and its investment in The Joint is key to the group's expansion plans. The investment will help develop the technical infrastructure of The Joint, based in Soho's Greek Street, as well as supporting creative collaboration on many future productions.

It is very much a talent-led company and Sarah Mackay and the team impressed us so much we just knew this deal was going to happen from our first meeting. We see a Soho base, with connectivity to our Cardiff facilities, as key to our future growth plans and will provide huge benefits for both companies."

One of the first joint projects for both companies is a high end special documentary for Channel 4 produced by Oxford Scientific Films.
Gorilla's aim is to use its technical support, experience and its established relationships with clients and suppliers to complement The Joint's impressive record working with a range of high calibre clients.
