Waterside Media Consultancy Opens
Waterside Media has launched.
The new consultancy for the broadcast, media and entertainment industries specialises in bringing together companies and products to create successful partnerships and projects.
The consultancy also supports organisations within other sectors that are seeking broadcast services and opportunities.
Waterside Media is led by Neil Blake, who has nearly 30 years' experience in the broadcast sector. Most recently Blake worked at Avid where he held a Solutions Development role responsible for Avid's EAME Archive business, followed by a Technology Partnership management role, working with partners to provide projects and sales teams with access to third party products to integrate into Avid projects. Blake’s deep technical knowledge and outstanding networking skills enable him to bring the right people and projects together.
Blake says: "In the digital age, the time to think and analyse is becoming a scarce commodity. Companies cannot afford the time to search for and qualify potential technology partners, or to research the myriad solutions for the one that most suits their needs. Our aim is to alleviate that time pressure by doing that research and qualificationprocess for our clients, using our extensive network and industry knowledge to bring the best solutions to the fore and present everything our clients need to make these crucial decisions."
The consultancy will offer its expertise in areas including Technology Partner Management, providing a discreet and confidential service to companies seeking new partnerships by finding and pre-qualifying potential partners, and remaining in close contact with the partners to ensure the relationship continue to grow and that their shared goals are maintained; Channel Management, helping companies wishing to enter specific UK and European markets to build and support a successful resellerchannel; and Archive Workflows, providing cutting edge media management and storage platforms and working with each client to provide the best solution to fit both their short-term and long-term needs.
Waterside Media also works with partner company Silver Lining toprovide marketing services to launch brand and products. The company is led by Sadie Groom, who brings many years of industry experience, having worked with complex high value products and workflows and covering promotion throughout the full product lifecycle. Silver Lining also delivers campaign creation, planning and management, event organisation and demand generation. Silver Lining’s sister company Bubble & Squeak offers a full range of global PR services including media relations, social media, technical writing and trade show PR.
In addition Waterside has other partner companies who bring their own areas of expertise, including axle video, Object Matrix, Spectra Logic, Step2e and Stream UK.
