RSM are most featured library for World Cup

The London-based production music library Reliable Source Music (RSM) have become the most featured library in this year's FIFA World Cup programming.
RSM welcomed news that their product has appeared in 124 features and scripts in the tournament, with a total of 3hrs 26 minutes of music used for worldwide broadcasts from Japan and Korea.
The company believe that this reflects the quality of music that RSM strives to represent. RSM is the first fully Watermarked library in the world, which enables the monitoring of their music on major broadcast and television networks in the top 100 US markets.
RSM Managing Director Dr Wayne Bickerton believes RSM’s investment in Watermarking will reap great benefits for clients and writers alike as monitoring identifies both the composition and the programme.
“We have invested heavily in our music quality but also recognise the problem with monitoring its use overseas. Watermarking enables us to track our music in the Spanish and US Markets, allowing us feedback on which broadcaster has used our music/your programme, and in which market it took place. FIFA 2002 has proven to be a successful testbed for this process,” he said.
