Atempo Signs Root6 To Resell Digital Content

Atempo has signed root6, a supplier of technology to the UK broadcast, film and post-production communities, to resell its Atempo Digital Archive (ADA) and Atempo Time Navigator (ATN) to data-intensive environments across the media and entertainment industries.
The partnership supports Atempo's growing momentum in the creative industry.
It gives root6 customers the benefit of Atempo's backup, recovery and file archival software solutions that are designed to simplify the data management process and integrate into their project workflows.
Now, root6 will feature Atempo's cross-platform data protection and archiving solutions in its state-of-the-art post-production demonstration facility in Soho, central London.
The root6 business boasts an impressive customer list including, among others, The BBC,Channel 5, MTV, The Moving Picture Company, The VTR Group, The Farm, Molinare and London South Bank University. File-based workflow experts in film and television environments, root6 has partnered with facilities of all sizes to enable them to achieve operational and commercial objectives.
