Boxer To Resell Atempo Data Protection And Archiving Solutions

A leading provider of cross-platform data protection and archiving solutions, Atempo, has signed Boxer Systems to resell Atempo Digital Archive (ADA) and Atempo Time Navigator (ATN) to data-intensive environments in the broadcast and post-production industry.
The partnership further supports Atempo's growing momentum in the creative industry and strengthens existing joint customer relationships with Marajan TV and CNBC. Boxer's customers will be able to benefit from Atempo's data protection and digital archiving software solutions, specifically designed to easily integrate into digital workflows and protect and archive growing data volumes.
Based in Harpenden, Hertfordshire, Boxer serves an impressive list of customers including BBC, BSkyB, Thomson Reuters, Channel 4, ITV and ITN.
Mike Heaney, Managing Director at Boxer, said: "There is a growing need among our larger customers for a robust, richly-featured and fully-integrated data protection and digital content archiving platform that supports complex and expanding data-intensive workflow processes. After evaluating the Atempo platform extensively, we were impressed with how it suited many of our customers' cross-platform environments where the protection of high-value digital assets is a business imperative."
Stephane Kirchacker, Managing Director, Northern Europe and Business Development for Atempo UK, said: "With over 20 years experience serving the needs of the broadcast and post-production arena, Boxer understands the requirements of its customers better than most. Partnering with such an established reseller will allow Atempo to build significant momentum in this market.
"It also emphasises Atempo's commitment in providing best of breed data protection and archiving solutions to our worldwide media customers such as National Film Board of Canada, Efilm, RTL-TVI, Laboratoires Eclair and new prospective customers."
