Mode-AL To Launch New Desk Mount At ISE 2011

Mode-AL are set to introduce its Very Low Level Desk Mount (VLL) at ISE 2011.
Developed for Mode-AL's VX range of video conferencing furniture as a cost-effective solution for mounting preview screens on a desk rather than using screen lifters, this simple yet effective mount allows any size screen to be mounted at a very low level; as much as 10mm below desk level with hand adjustable tilt from 90 degrees (vertical) to 45 degrees back.
The VLL is available as a standalone unit or with an in-built cable cubby. This versatile mount can be used in Broadcasting, Telepresence, Court Rooms, Parliamentary chambers and many other locations where the screen needs to be as unobtrusive as possible.
The mount is available in three styles - Surface mount, Inset and Under Desk top, providing for retro fits as well as new build applications.
The surface mount option is the simplest to fit, with a single rectangular hole in the desktop and a smooth curve lip. The unit can easily be dropped in and secured from underneath.
The inset option unit fits flush with the desktop with a routed 10mm deep profile to match the top plate and a rectangular hole below. The unit can also be dropped in and secured from below.
The under desk top mounted option provides seamless integration with the desktop, with the mechanism attached from underneath and an integrated under cover providing the finishing touch.
Ideally suited for 19-24" monitors, each VLL desk mount is configured in the factory to suit individual screen requirements. Units for the most popular screens will be available from April 2011, providing the perfect finishing touch for high end installations.
