BRYANT LAUNCH RACK MOUNT UNIT

NEW for playout and other function critical applications like OB Cricket uplinks, radio stations, and RSLs, Bryant Broadcast have launched a 1U rack mount, microcontroller based, ‘changeover’ mains unit with 2 IEC inputs and 10 outputs.
In the event of a mains failure the CMU 110B will instantaneously switch the rack equipment between two incoming geographical supplies, or mains and UPS, and an audible alarm plus flashing LEDs will notify the operator. When the preferred main is restored and if the mains and standby are in phase, the changeover relay will switch back.
The unit will function with either, or both supplies available. With both supplies present, two input status red/green LEDs will illuminate ~ the preferred mains showing green and the back up red. The output status LEDs switch red to green on start-up and are also fired sequentially to limit current inrush and possible MCB trip-out when firing hungry Digital equipment.
