Simon Carter's New Role At Mount Pleasant Studio

Mount Pleasant Studio, London's most central soundproof film and television studio, announced the promotion of Simon Carter to Studio Manager.

Simon will oversee the day to day running of the studio, liaising with Mount Pleasant Studio's clients across commercials, broadcast and corporate production and building the studio's hire business.

Managing Director Richard Lewisohn said: "Simon has been a key part of our success and I doubt there is anyone more experienced to take on this role.

Mount Pleasant Studio opened its doors in 2005.

Since then it has hosted shoots for a wide range of production companies, advertising agencies and post houses.

Recent clients include Baby Cow, ITN, Disney, Leo Burnett, Royle Productions, Blink Productions and Stink Studios.

Recent shoots include a promotional shoot for 'Pitch Perfect 3' with Rebel Wilson and interviews with Armando Iannucci and Rebecca Front for the BBC Documentary 'Alan Partridge: Why, When, Where, How and Whom?'.

Video Arts shot a week of training films with comedy stars including Sally Phillips.
