GTC Event To Support Freelances

A Guild of Television Cameramen (GTC) business skills 'roadshow' is coming to the North West.
The 'How to Survive as a Freelance' team will be in Manchester on Saturday 25 September.
Similar events have already been held in Uxbridge and Birmingham and have been extremely well received.
After the Uxbridge day, one attendee commented that this day alone was "worth the year's GTC subs".
The packed day will include tips and information on how to sell a professional service, crucial information on tax and insurance, and advice on how to finance kit purchases.
The full list of speakers comprises Survival Skills for Freelances; Paying for Your Gear; Keeping the Books Straight; The Risk Business; Vision + Media and the Big Shed - a tour of the facilities and studios, with lunch and refreshments included.
GTC workshops are free to GTC members. Non-members are welcome, space permitting, but will be subject to an entrance fee.
