IABM enables Ravensbourne students to attend IBC
Support from the IABM will enable two second-year students from the Broadcast Engineering degree course at Ravensbourne College to attend the IBC Convention in Amsterdam this September.
The assistance provides conference tickets and supporting expenses.
The students, Katie Evans and Adam Tookey, were chosen from the second year engineering student group because of the excellent level of motivation and learning potential they have demonstrated both through their course work and in written applications for this sponsorship.
Katie is currently enjoying a summer work placement with BBC News Resources.
She comments: "I'm thrilled about being able to go to IBC. I expect to learn a lot from the technical sessions and hope to gain a better sense of the way the industry is heading."
Katie and Adam will both be reporting on their IBC experience to new engineering students joining the course in September.
