BVA Announce 30th Anniversary General Meeting

The British Video Association (BVA) have announced its 30th Annual General Meeting and Reception taking place at BAFTA on 2nd November.
The event will be a celebration of the history of the home entertainment industry looking back over the past 30 years of the BVA, with the kind support of Bezier. There will be also be a strong emphasis on the exciting direction they intend to take in the future.
The evening will start with the annual statement from BVA Chairman, Anthony Peet, General Manager for The Walt Disney Company and the Director General's annual news review. The keynote speaker is Ed Vaizey MP, (pictured) Minister for the Creative Industries, and guests will have the opportunity to put questions to him about the new government audio visual policy.
BVA Marketing Manager, Hannah Conduct, said: "We are pleased to have the new Minister speaking at what is a landmark year for the BVA – our 30th year. We look forward to hearing Mr Vaizey's views on the creative industries particularly as his portfolios cover both the Department of Culture Media and Sport and the Department for Business Innovation and Skills.
"BAFTA is an ideal venue to host this special celebration of the home entertainment trade association which has been working since 1980 supporting the industry. We look forward to an interesting and entertaining evening."
