New Avitel units to be launched at IBC

Avitel's established and popular range of K-series modular analogue and digital interface products will be exhibited at IBC 2002 on Stand 2.300.
Supported signal applications include ASI, analogue and digital audio and video. Transmission and monitoring quality versions of most product types are available. Functions offered in the Avitel range include switching, conversion, EDH, embedding/extracting and distribution. In addition, the current range of analogue timecode processors, generators and reader-inserters are available. All K-Series products manufactured and supplied by Avitel are covered by unconditional guarantee.
Also to be launched at IBC is the new single module box, a rugged self-contained enclosure capable of housing almost any Avitel module and ideal for any application where a rack-mounted multi-module enclosure is not required.
Most Avitel modules incorporate as standard the Avitel DART management system which allows the interconnection of equipment from Avitel and a variety of third party suppliers, and enables the use of Avitel's superDART control software system. DART allows equipment to be remote controlled by dedicated panels, computers or data links. It is based on the highly robust CANbus (ISO11898) networking system, whose outstanding data integrity has allowed it to be used in a diverse range of safety-critical industrial applications. It also allows status monitoring of equipment, and of the signals passing through the equipment.
