Kata UK to lighten the load with National Geographic equipment range

Kata UK Limited has been appointed the exclusive distributor in the UK for the recently introduced National Geographic range of photo and video equipment.
National Geographic, known worldwide mainly for its magazines, conservation projects and educational programs, teamed up with Manfrotto to create this product range, comprising NG Expedition no-compromise camera supports, manufactured by Manfrotto and designed for the extreme demands of the professional photographer and photographic explorer, and NG Tundra tripods and monopod, providing the enthusiast imagemaker with the technical advantages and innovations to give professional performance.
Included in the Tundra portfolio is a tripod backpack bag offering multi-functional protection with numerous compartments, which will take a tripod and camera, attached or separated. Classically stylish and extremely durable, it is ideal for trekking.
There is also a stylish collection of Earth Explorer photo bags and backpacks, which provide ample room for cameras, accessories and personal belongings. The flexible designs incorporated within the bag range include laptop compartments and removable camera storage pouches, which make them as suitable for daily use as for carrying equipment. They have been developed to blend cutting-edge protection with elegant, traditional 'explorer' styling. Light khaki in colour, they use environmentally friendly components and sustainable materials, such as hemp and cotton, and have solid brass buckles with an antique finish.
Greg Cooney, Sales Director of Kata UK, commented: "We are delighted to have won the distribution rights for the National Geographic range of photo and video accessories. They are a great complement to our existing ranges of Kata bags and Gitzo camera supports, and allow Kata UK to provide the market with a genuine choice of product styles, without sacrificing on quality or innovative design."
