Bennett Made Five's Factual Commissioner
Bafta-nominated Producer Matt Bennett has been newly appointed to the role of Channel Five's Factual Commissioner.
Bennett previously worked as the Series Producer and Director on BBC1 documentary Trawlermen and has the successfully received Ross Kemp documentary series' under his belt. He joins Five having moved from Tiger Aspect.
As Commissioning Editor of Factual he will report to Channel Five’s Head of Factual Andrew O’Connell. Bennett will be responsible for long-running factual programmes such as Revealed and Extraordinary People, as well as forthcoming shows such as Optomen’s The Business Inspector.
Following the departure of Kaspar Pflueger to parent company RTL, Channel Five have also appointed former Twofour Broadcast Head of Entertainment Greg Barnett as Commissioning Executive for daytime and soaps.
