Team Talk Broadcast At Rugby Super League

Viewers of The Engage Rugby League Super League - which climaxed last Saturday with the Grand Final - have benefited from the flexibility of Bradley Engineering's HDC_100 remote cameras.
They provided league fans with key footage of important team talks.
Telegenic, an Outside Broadcast facilities provider purchased two Bradley Engineering HDC_100 remote cameras - the smallest in the market - and SMPTE-standard Dual Channel Fibre system to provide pictures for Sky's live broadcasts.
Telegenic required two pan & tilt remote controlled cameras that could be rigged in the teams' dressing rooms to capture footage throughout the competition, but which could also grant privacy to players. The dressing room scenes were aired as part of Sky's commentary before and after matches, and during half-time capturing images of the highs and lows of the all important team talks.
Bradley Engineering's Dual Channel Fibre system was an essential element of the project. The system uses both fibres as return HDSDI feeds with common data and power to the two HDC_100s at a distance of 450 metres from Telegenic's T8 HD OB truck.
On Saturday fans saw St Helen's battle it out with Leeds Rhino, with Leeds taking the title for the third year running, bringing home the silver and earning themselves a place in the history books.
Sean Mulhern, Telegenic's Head of Engineering, explained: "It was essential that we found a remote camera system that could pan and tilt and also zoom in on the players and managers building tension during those breaks. Bradley Engineering's HDC_100 camera ticks all the boxes: it streams video output in HD or SD, is so small it can be positioned so that it's out of the way and can be controlled by a single operator. Bradley Engineering's Dual Channel Fibre system enabled both cameras to be powered from our T8 OB truck, which was a major feature for us."
David Bradley, Bradley Engineering's CEO, added: "This application further highlights the flexibility and usability of Bradley Engineering's products. The HDC_100 is extremely operator friendly, very easy to rig and can be positioned just about anywhere. The fibre system is incredibly cost-effective - probably the most competitive fibre system available. It was a great final on Saturday and we are proud to have been a small part of it."
