Pyser-SGI Supplies Fujinon HD Lenses To London Studios

Exclusive UK/Ireland distributor Pyser-SGI has supplied a substantial quantity of Fujinon high definition Studio, EFP and ENG lenses to The London Studios.
The lenses are being used for the HD refurbishment of two studios, forming part of a major project scheduled for HD programming in October this year.
The order comprises eleven Fujinon 2/3rd inch format Digi-Power HA27x6 5BESM HD studio lenses and two XA72x9 3BESM HD EFP lenses, plus nine HA13x4.5BERD HD ENG wide angle and three HA23x76BERD HD ENG telephoto lenses. A full range of accessories, including servo and high speed servo modules, digital shot boxes, studio zoom demands, and Fujinon's FIND digital diagnostics tool complete the order.

This contract continues our long association with both Pyser-SGI and Fujinon, going back to the mid-1980s when we first ordered Fujinon lenses."
Special features of the Fujinon HA27x6.5 box lens with a wide-angle performance of 75° 50’ include automatic compensation for focus "breathing"; an improved centre of gravity; low acoustic noise and shorter body length. Both the HA27x6.5 and the XA72x9.3 in common with all Fujinon's "box style" lenses use sealed dust proof and anti-fogging design and have advanced back focus systems permitting remote macro and focus fade control. All of the studio and EFP lenses also use the Fujinon ESM-D52 fast zoom servos giving zoom speeds of up to 0.6 seconds end-to-end with exceptionally quiet operation.
The HA13x4 ENG lens offers an extremely wide angle of view, and the HA23x7.6 combines good telephoto range and wide angle operation in one package. Both lenses have Fujinon's One Shot Preset and Quick-Zoom facility to allow storage and recall of a preset position and checking of focus by single button operation.
Fujinon's Digi-Power digital servo control systems are employed on all the lenses supplied, providing a high degree of accuracy of lens control for advanced performance and ease of operation. All lenses come equipped with a built-in serial port for diagnostics and serial digital remote control.
