Pyser-SGI Delivers Fujinon Lenses To BBC Studios

Exclusive UK/Ireland distributor Pyser-SGI Ltd recently delivered six Fujinon 2/3 inch format DigiPower high definition ENG style lenses to BBC Studios, part of BBC Resources Ltd, for use in the updating of the Studio 5 Sports Studio at Television Centre, scheduled to be back on air in August this year.
The order comprises two Fujinon HA13x4.5BERD widest angle lenses intended for crane and hand held operations, two HA18x7.6BERD for close up shots, and two versatile HA16x6.3BERD lenses featuring both wide angle and good magnification in one package. All the lenses have built-in zoom and focus servos and have been supplied complete with full servo kits.
Other lens features include Inner Focus, Zoom Limit, Quick Zoom, and built-in 2x extender. Options available on the HA13.45 and HA18x7.6 include Quick Frame, Ratio Converter and 16 Bit Encoder, with Quick Frame and 16 Bit Encoder on the HA16x6.3.
Lens focal lengths are 4.5 to 59 mm on the HA13x4.5, with an MOD of 0.59 m; 7.6 to 137 mm on the HA18x7.6, with an MOD of 0.87 m; and 6.3 to 101 mm on the HA16x6.3, with an MOD of 0.4 m.
Fujinon’s DigiPower digital servo control system provides a high degree of reliability and accuracy of lens control for advanced performance and ease of operation, as well as simple integration into robotics and virtual reality systems.
