Windfall Films Makes 'Monster Moves' On European Sales

Windfall Films has announced European sales of the fourth season of its acclaimed engineering series, Monster Moves.
Distributed by Cineflix International, the show has already gained sales to Discovery Europe and Kabel 1 and N24 in Germany.
Monster Moves 4, originally commissioned by FIVE for transmission over the summer, features some of the most daring and long-distance relocation projects ever attempted.
This season documents the relocation of an entire town in Canada, where over 170 homes are sitting on top of £4 billion worth of gold, and follows a team of engineers challenged to move a fleet of twenty enormous mega-yachts worth over £80 million across the stormy Atlantic without scratching or getting them wet.
The six-part series opens with a special edition charting a particularly challenging move which took almost a year to complete.
In Monster Moves: Supersize Submarine a daring team of marine engineers attempt to move a colossal British-built Submarine 700 miles across water and land in Canada.
The epic journey almost ends in disaster when the 1,4000 tonne vessel dramatically topples over on a beach headland, as it is being hauled out of the sea onto dry land.
Carlo Massarella, Series Producer and Creator from Windfall Films, said: "Monster Moves has proved a hit for FIVE with strong viewing figures throughout the series and the recent sales are testament to its continued international appeal.
"These latest sales figures demonstrate the value of working with a global distributor like Cineflix and that innovative, well-crafted documentaries continue to attract audience share."
Diane Rankin, Head of Acquisitions at Cineflix International, added: "Monster Moves is a perfect example of a well-executed doc series that attracts male and female viewers, giving it universal appeal for broadcasters the world over. That's why it continues to perform so well."
Monster Moves 4 is a Windfall Films/Cineflix co-production for FIVE and Discovery Canada.
