Prime Focus Brings Aspera On Board To Speed Up File Transfers

A global visual entertainment services group, Prime Focus, has chosen Aspera's file transfer management and delivery technology to enable faster and more reliable digital file sharing.
Working in the film, broadcast and commercials industries, some of the credits Prime Focus has to its name include Quantum of Solace, GI Joe: The Rise of the Cobra and Ghajini.
With a 'Global Digital Pipeline' at its heart to enable collaboration on projects across three continents and five different time zones, Prime Focus needed a way of sharing files quickly, securely and reliably with other offices, partners and customers.
Prime Focus Technologies provides customers with CLEAR, a web-based media asset and workflow management platform, which offers the flexibility to share and manage content globally in a secure manner.
The Aspera solution will now be embedded within the CLEAR platform for high-speed files transfers and added security across Prime Focus' facilities in India, the UK and North America - in addition to key customer and partner sites.
