Nexus Get Into The Olympic Spirit

Leading digital film-making studio Nexus has been commissioned by the IOC to make two films that communicate the core values of the Olympic movement.
Working alongside Cole & Weber United, All Together Now, will be the first of the two films being directed by Fx & Mat, the second of which will follow later this year.
Nexus newcomers, Fx & Mat take us on a worldwide adventure, creating a 3D world as the backdrop to an Olympian struggle.
Six athletes are animated in 3D to compete in a global tug of war, each one rooted to the ground of one of the six continents. The athletes straining faces and the tiny people below cheering them on emphasises the enormous scale of both their size and their struggle.
In a final twist, the tug of war then reveals that the athletes are joining themselves in one common effort to unify the continents and the world. The finishing triumphant scene sees our heroes touch hands and the Olympic Games flame, containing all six colours, soars into the air and morphs into the Olympic Games symbol.
FX & Mat added: "We had a lot of very exciting challenges on this project, but we could count on an amazing team, led by the 3D supervisor Dave Fleet and the producer Christine Ponzevera.
"As in a tough competition, the team spirit was the engine of the film."
