New Team Member For Hullabaloo Studios

Hullabaloo Studios is continuing its expansion with the appointment of Ian Bate to head up their new 2D Design Department.
A year ago, Hullabaloo Studios, based in Altrincham in Cheshire, expanded their services to become a 'one-stop-shop' for post-production picture and sound. The expansion has seen their team double from 6 to 12 with around 155 years combined industry experience and they have attracted a range of new clients as a result.
Ian Bate has around thirty years experience in the broadcast industry and an impressive track record. His portfolio of work includes: Dream Team for Sky One, A Place In The Sun and How To Look Good Naked for Channel 4 and A Question Of Sport for BBC 1.
Hullabaloo Studios was set up twelve years ago by Darren Cox and Simon Hall. Darren said: "We're always looking at ways we can improve the service we offer to our clients. Our new 2D Design Department means that we can offer an improved service to advertising agencies and it allows us to create programme title sequences in-house."
The new department is based around After Effects although more complicated projects may include the use of 3D Maya, Smoke, On-Line Editing and Audio Editing such as Pro-Tools.
One of Ian's first tasks was to appoint a Junior Graphic Designer to join his team. The job went to Ric Caina who joined the growing team in July. Ric said: "I'm very excited about joining Hullabaloo Studios. They seem to be a company that's going places and I'm delighted that they've given me the opportunity to develop my career in this way."
