AKA Breathes New Air Into Shoreditch Facility

Breathe Post Production, recently rebranded to Air Post Production, has just opened their third facility in Shoreditch making them the largest HD facility in east London.
AKA was commissioned to design the interior and furniture for this new five-storey building, which houses 18 Final Cut Pro and Avid suites and includes two grading suites, based around Apples Color with Tangent panels.
Each floor is divided into two areas with the edit suites nestled around a light and airy communal space which offers lounge, internet and viewing areas. The ground floor holds a glass fronted central machine room, as well as reception and offices, with managed production offices sited on the fourth floor.
The technical installation was managed by Root6, with whom AKA have completed numerous projects, notably On-Demand, FIVE and MTV.
