Voting Open For The Conch Awards 2009

The UK Screen Association have announced that voting is now open for The Conch Awards 2009 and will close on July 24 2009.
People from the sound post production industry will have the opportunity to vote for the people and/or projects they believe deserve to win a Conch.
An individual is allowed to vote for one project or person per category and you can vote for yourself. We encourage companies to promote the voting process to their staff so that they may participate and once these have been counted and verified, the shortlist will be created and announced. All those shortlisted will go through to the final judging panels.
The judging panel then decide from this shortlist who will be awarded The Conch at the awards ceremony, taking place at the stunning new venue, Kings Place on September 22 2009.
In the case of Commercial Facility, Film Facility, TV Facility and Newcomer ALL those nominated will automatically go through to the final judging stage. The shortlists for these categories will only be announced following the judging day. Entrants in these categories will be asked to provide more information in the next few weeks.
