Omneon Announces New Senior Vice President

Omneon has announced that Denis Maynard has joined the company as their new Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales.
Maynard brings more than two decades of senior sales experience to Omneon, and in his new position he will provide leadership in the management of the company's global sales and systems engineering efforts.
"Denis has an outstanding sales management record, and we look forward to his contribution of proven leadership and valuable knowledge to the worldwide operations of Omneon," said Suresh Vasudevan, Chief Executive Officer at Omneon. "We are very pleased to welcome Denis to the Omneon team.

Prior to joining Omneon, Maynard was a senior vice president for worldwide sales and marketing at QLogic, a leading supplier of high-performance network infrastructure solutions.
During his seven years at the company, Maynard led a team that was responsible for all customer-facing activities, including worldwide OEM sales and systems engineering, channel sales, systems engineering and marketing, corporate marketing, and alliances, as well as technical service and support.
Mr Maynard previoulsy spent nearly nine years in senior management positions at Cisco Systems, most recently as director of worldwide field operations.
From 1990 to 1993, Maynard served as western regional sales manager for Banyan Systems, a pioneer and leader in providing open, standards-based network operating systems for enterprise networks.
Maynard is based at Omneon headquarters in Sunnyvale, California.
