Omneon names Regional Sales Manager for India

Omneon Video Networks has appointed Iain Wood as Regional Sales Manager, primarily responsible for the rapidly developing broadcast market in India.
With the addition of Mr. Wood, Omneon will be able to focus more directly on the Indian market, supporting existing Omneon customers in the region while also working to make Omneon media server and storage solutions the first choice for Indian broadcasters.
"Omneon has undergone tremendous growth, not only in EMEA, but around the world. Now with the addition of Iain as a resource dedicated to India, we are in a position to address this very important market," said Greg Hoskin, Vice President of EMEA Sales at Omneon. "Iain's industry relationships in India and the Middle East will be very important to us in being able to introduce and establish our media server and storage solutions quickly with key broadcasters in the region."
Wood previously served as Sales Manager for OmniBus Systems, where he managed the India and Middle East regions and built a reputation for developing new regions and gaining sales successes in those areas. He joined OmniBus in 1998 from Drake Automation.
Wood will be based out of Omneon's expanded EMEA headquarters, now located in Hampshire. He will report directly to Hoskin.
