Compact To Collect Australasian Rights Revenue For BBC Worldwide

Compact has announced that it has signed a deal with BBC Worldwide, the commercial arm of the BBC, for representation of its secondary and tertiary rights in Australasia.

John O'Sullivan, Chief Executive Officer of Compact, said: "When BBC Worldwide engaged our services we made a commitment to them to manage and increase their revenues.
"I believe we have surpassed ourselves and this appointment is testament to our hard work and dedication in managing their rights successfully. Australasia is an increasingly important territory for our rights holders, especially for BBC Worldwide, which enjoy a particularly strong affinity with the market."
John Aitchison, Rights Manager, BBC Worldwide, added: "The continuation of our partnership with Compact Collections further underlines BBC Worldwide's commitment to protecting the commercial exploitation of rights, delivering additional efficiencies and greater revenues for rights holders throughout the many international markets in which we operate."
