CTIA Welcomes Scott Bergmann As New VP Of Regulatory Affairs

CTIA - The Wireless Association has announced that Scott Bergmann will be joining the wireless industry trade group as the new Assistant Vice President of Regulatory Affairs.
Having served in several senior-level positions throughout the course of his tenure at the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Bergmann brings over ten years of telecommunications and regulatory experience to the Association.

He brings a wealth of knowledge in numerous key policy areas including universal service, broadband, rural telecommunications and intercarrier compensation. With his personality and level of expertise and experience, there's no doubt Scott will be a valuable resource to CTIA and the industry as a whole in advocating on behalf of wireless."
Bergmann joins CTIA after having served as Senior Legal Advisor in the Office of FCC Commissioner Jonathan Adelstein. Prior to his service in Commissioner Adelstein's office, Bergmann served as Legal Counsel to the Bureau Chief and then Deputy Chief of Policy for the Commission's Wireline Competition Bureau. Bergmann began his tenure at the Commission as an Attorney-Advisor with the Industry Analysis Division in the Common Carrier Bureau.
Bergmann holds a Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and a Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California Law Centre. He begins his new post at CTIA in mid-April.
