Screen Academy Scotland Recruits For PG Cert In Screenwriting
Recruits are being sought for the Screen Academy Scotland's Postgraduate Certificate in Screenwriting.
The Postgraduate Certificate in Screenwriting is an eight-month blended learning course delivered by Napier University. The course combines online lectures, tutorials, discussions and exercises with attendance at three intensive face-to-face workshops.
It runs from February 2 to September 14 2009 in two terms and students will undertake three modules from Screen Academy Scotland's highly-successful masters degree (MA Screenwriting), specially re-designed for online delivery.
The course is led by James Mavor, screenwriter and Programme Leader on the MA Screenwriting at Screen Academy Scotland and taught by experienced and active industry professionals. It's designed to appeal to students who wish to develop their skills in dramatic writing for the film, television and interactive screen industries and is ideal for those who wish to study alongside their work as part of their continuing professional development.
Students on the PG Cert will receive a Student Pass to the Edinburgh International Film Festival which runs from June 17 - 28 in 2009 with opportunities to attend screenings, masterclasses, networking and industry events.
For an application form, please contact Anne Brown on: [email protected] or call: 0131 455 2572.
