National Television Make A Rather Special Delivery Of Their Own

Who would have thought an entire cardboard city could be so pretty?
To highlight Curry's new delivery times, National Television worked in conjunction with M & C Saatchi Art Director Orlando Warner, to design a simplistic, yet eye-catching animated commercial.
The scene opens on a shiny new washing machine, which is immediately enveloped in cardboard. The box starts to turn, seamlessly multiply and form part of a unit of boxes, organically growing into the shape of a Curry's delivery van. As the unfurling continues, we pull out to reveal a perfectly geometric cardboard city, with the Currys' vans making deliveries through the day and into the night, as the sky perfectly transitions to dark and starry.
Realistic card textures and lighting from the sun and the moon needed to work in time with the script, helping to give emphasis to the key message of the original creative brief. Once again, National Television's slick and committed team, headed up by Chris Dooley, found the best possible solutions to make this cardboard world look and feel stylish.
