Thomson Hits Paris Show

Thomson, a worldwide leader in video solutions, will exhibit its latest tools and technologies for cost-effective, file-based production and distribution of standard-definition and high-definition (SD and HD) content at the Audiovisual Technologies & Solutions (SATIS) 2008 conference in Porte de Versailles, Paris, France, this week (October 20-23).
The Thomson exhibit stand (Hall 7.3, stand B-38) will feature a full range of products designed to help users develop and distribute content on any platform at any resolution to any location.
This includes Thomson Grass Valley HD cameras and camcorders, video production switchers, servers, HD news and nonlinear editing software, video delivery platforms, and a live news control automation system.
All will be demonstrated within various areas of the stand, where attendees can gain hands-on experience with the products.
On hand will be the Infinity Digital Media Camcorder (DMC), LDK 8000 wireless camera system, K2 HD media server, Indigo AV Mixer, Turbo iDDR (Intelligent Digital Disk Recorder), Aurora news editing software, EDIUS HD editing software, HDSTORM I/O editing boards, MediaEdge3 video delivery system (IP software and server), the Ignite HD integrated production system, and HDC robotic cameras.
