Nugget HD Video Player Features Extensive Video File Format Support

Doremi Labs’ popular standalone Nugget HD Video Player now features extensive video file format support courtesy of the new Doremi Asset Manager software that is included with every Nugget purchase.
Doremi Asset Manager simplifies the selection and Ethernet transfer of video files such as QuickTime, MXF, AVI, and WMV to Nugget’s internal hard drive. The operator simply adds the desired files into Asset Manager’s clip database and the software will transparently handle the synchronization and transfer of content to Nugget’s hard drive.
Nugget’s superior resolution HD video playback is a perfect match for the new generation of high-resolution video projectors, plasma and LCD displays. Applications for the Nugget include theme parks, museums, concerts and other stage events.
The Nugget plays HD and SD video files at up to 80Mb/s (4:2:2 and 4:2:0). The 80Mb/s bit rate is over four times that of the HDTV broadcast standard. Output formats include DVI, HD-SDI, SDI and composite video.
Nugget is housed in a 1RU chassis and is available in standard and pro versions. The standard version features composite and DVI video outputs, 6 channels analog and IEC-958 audio. The Nugget Pro ads HD-SDI and SDI video outputs, LTC in/out, sync input, 6-channel AES/EBU digital audio and more. Nugget is also available in a 2RU chassis with a removable hard drive.
