BBC Picks SSR As Preferred Training Provider

SSR has just become Manchester's new preferred training provider for the BBC.
SSR bid for the prestigious position and came out on top in a move that Wendy Breakell, Director of Education for SSR) described as "extremely exciting".
SSR Principal Ian Hu said: "This is great news for us. We have recently expanded our facilities, adding a brand new Post Production Facility, two track laying suites and three new editing pods.
"We are also due to unveil our new flagship Digico Studio in November which will house one of the world's most advanced digital mixing consoles, the DS00, which can be used across many disciplines. Our new Apple Suite will be completed in November also. This BBC training contract alongside the development of Media City is perfect timing - we hope to add video training to our BBC roster in 2009."
