Argosy Showcases New Line Of Intelligent MDUs At IBC2008

Argosy, a leading international supplier of HD broadcast, cables and studio infrastructure products, will launch the Power Manager Mains Distribution Unit (MDU) at IBC2008 (Stand: 10.D55).
The intelligent Power Manager range is the latest addition to a family of MDUs distributed by Argosy that offers a unified global power management solution.
These MDUs have been designed to provide the full flexibility required by technical operations for a range of applications from television and radio broadcasting to recording studios, IT and telecommunications facilities.
Argosy's new family of intelligent MDUs extends from the standard entry-level unit - MDU-14B, which provides 14-fused IEC outlets at superior density - to the top of the range MDU-12PM Power Manager unit, that offers full SNMP alarm monitoring plus a host of other features including the ability to administers all the control of input and output locations, 16 General Purpose Interfaces (GPIs) inputs for the remote management of non-networked rack hardware.

The Power Manager utilises front panel LEDs for rapid failure detection, an intuitive GUI for ease of use, latching relays and SNMP traps for flexibility and control.
The Power Manager intelligent MDU offers administrators a secure a Ethernet connection to the password protected web-based setup interface. All Power Manager MDUs are RoHS and WEEE compliant.
