TSL Announces Power Manager MDU With Current Sensing Feature

Independent broadcast systems integrator TSL has introduced a new addition to its range of intelligent Mains Distribution Units (MDUs). The new Power Manager MDU with Current Sensing feature (MDU12-PMI) allows broadcasters to take complete control of their technical infrastructure, providing a flexible energy management solution to satisfy all requirements.
IBC provides a platform for the worldwide launch of the MDU12-PMI.
The flagship MDU12-PMI, part of TSL's Power Managing Portfolio, has been designed to offer the full flexibility required by technical operators in leading broadcast applications. The Current Sensing feature can monitor the current consumed and power factor of all the equipment in a rack as well as each individual outlet, providing a warning if the current rises or falls below programmable set limits.
The MDU12-PMI can be switched remotely for unmanned operation providing a flexible system and energy management solutions. Also announced is the MDU-12PAI which provides all the functionality of the PMI but without the relay switching operation and targeted for monitoring application.
