APT Announces New Product Manager For WorldNet Oslo
Audio codec specialist APT have announced the appointment of Marc Benard as Product Manager of the WorldNet Oslo Multiplexer.
Jon McClintock, President of Worldwide Sales for APT, said: "Marc's superb knowledge of the industry and excellent product management skills will ensure that the WorldNet Oslo continues to remain the platform of choice for broadcasters the world over.
"The WorldNet Oslo is now widely accepted as the industry's most robust, professional platform for high quality audio contribution and distribution. I am delighted that Marc has joined APT - we have had an extremely successful 18 months and demand for our products has never been higher."
Benard brings extensive experience in the Pro-audio and Broadcast industries having served with Digigram, a leading provider of digital audio network devices, sound cards and audio processing software, for eight years. At Digigram he held positions as Technical Support Engineer and most recently Product Manager. Prior to working with Digigram, he worked as an Outside Broadcasting Sound Engineer.
He explained: 'I am thrilled to be joining such an innovative and forward-thinking company. APT has enjoyed extraordinary growth over the past number of years and its customer base of major national broadcasters is a testament both to the company and its product range. I look forward to helping the company build on the success of the WorldNet Oslo."
The WorldNet Oslo is a modular, multiple channel audio multiplexer designed to transport multiple channels of high quality content over E1, T1 or IP. With the ability to combine both linear and compressed audio with voice channels and data onto a single digital link for cost-effective networking it is the perfect solution for STL, TSL, backhaul and studio linking applications.
