OpenAd.net, the online marketplace for buying and selling advertising, marketing and design ideas, has announced that Mavi Jeans, the international fashion brand, has recruited the over 10,000 OpenAd-net creatives to help it promote drive traffic to its website through a scalable marketing, advertising and PR initiative.
Mavi has enlisted the OpenAd.net creatives to devise an idea that exposes Mavi to the media and drives consumers to the website to increase sales, all while reflecting the international spirit of the brand and communicating the brand's "perfect fit" platform.
The winning branding tool will entice consumers to shop online, embrace the Mavi culture, and engage with the fashion label in a more proactive way than ever before.
The newest pitch on the OpenAd.net site marks this international creative community's first entrance into the fashion market, and the winning concept may include creative use of media, web, events and point-of-purchase elements bringing new and innovative marketing solutions to the world of fashion advertising.
For creatives, this is an opportunity to influence the marketing of a brand currently sold in over 4,000 speciality stores, department stores and speciality chains in 50 countries including the US, Canada, Turkey, Australia, Germany, England, Denmark, Italy, France and the Netherlands.
Mavi has also 180 retail stores with flagships in New York, Vancouver, Montreal, Istanburl, Berlin and Frankfurt.
Founded in Istanbul in 1991, Mavi was named amongst the top 16 best jeans brand worldwide in Time Magazine's 2006 A-List.
