Irish Film Funding Changed

The Irish Film Board (IFB) has introduced new funding limits on certain sector of its work.
From July, this will impact on IFB development funding and certain types of IFB production funding.
Funding limits for development funding have been raised along with limits on production funding for fiction, Irish production, animation production and documentarcreative co-production funding and international production funding will remain as they are.
A special condition has been introduced for projects in receipt of fiction: Irish production funding, whereby projects submitted for funding under this programme must contain budget line items adequate to cover the production of good quality marketing materials.
Such funding Tremains very important as there are over 140 Irish feature films and 300 short films which have been produced with IFB backing.
