Czech Digital Broadcaster Z1 Chooses Chyron For Newsroom Integration

Chyron, a leading provider of broadcast graphics and newsroom integration solutions, has announced that Z1, one of the new national broadcasters starting its operation under a digital terrestrial TV license (DVB-T) in the Czech Republic, has purchased an LEX2 graphics system and CAMIO news graphics management solution as part of its digital upgrade. Chyron’s Czech Republic partner, systems integrator Visual Connection, is carrying out the newsroom integration.
The HD/SD switchable LEX2, which includes Lyric PRO, Chyron's advanced creation and playout application, will provide Z1 with a central graphics station with real-time 2D/3D animation including lower thirds, OTS and tickers. Chyron's CAMIO news graphics management solution is a key element of Z1's Dalet newsroom integration. Z1's new digital channel, which is due to launch this summer, will begin transmission with a 24/7 news programme.
