DV Talent Offers Discounted 'Z1 Shooting And Directing'

DV Talent is now offering its acclaimed 'Z1 Shooting and Directing' course at a discounted rate, meaning freelancers can now get a discount of over 50%.
They provide training to the BBC as well as to many of the main indies, such as Tiger Aspect, Darlow Smithson and IWC.
Run by production people for production people, their courses provide the technical and editorial skills required to work effectively, creatively and responsibly.
The shooting and directing course will teach you everything you need to know about the Sony Z1, the DV workhorse of the broadcasting industry.
At the end of two days, you will not only have an overview of the camera, its functions and how to get the best out of it but, crucially, will also know how to shoot sequences and how to shoot for the edit - making sure your directors aren't pulling their hair out in frustration in the cutting room!
The course - which involves intensive hands-on practical exercises with the camera - also covers sound and lighting for DV, health and safety, and the unique editorial issues involved in using DV, giving you the full complement of skills to become a confident self-shooter.
The two-day 'Z1 Shooting and Directing' course is now £290 + VAT (original price: £623 + VAT).
