Quartz appoint UK Sales Account Manager

Routing and Master Control specialist Quartz Electronics have appointed Victor Porter (pictured) UK Sales Account Manager.
Porter is now responsible for prospecting and increasing sales, as well as factory liaison to ensure effective delivery of Quartz equipment to its UK customer base.
After obtaining a BSc with Honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Porter joined BBC Television News in 1984 as a broadcast engineer, progressing to Sony Broadcast as a senior field service engineer before being appointed chief engineer of Molinare S.A, Madrid. In 1991 he co-founded Papelaco Video e Audio, distributing and supporting Panasonic Broadcast equipment in Portugal. He joins Quartz from Pro-Bel Ltd, where he was Area Sales Manager (London) from 1998 onwards. Porter now reports to Quartz Sales & Marketing Manager, Michael Hall.
Quartz, a world leader in broadcast routing and master control, design and manufacture a wide range of products for all major signal formats and transmission standards.
Since 2000, the company has increased personnel by 30% and earlier this year completed a significant HQ extension.
