Irish Film Board Announce New Appointments

Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board (IFB) has announced a number of new positions.
Patrick O'Neill will take the position of Industry Affairs Executive and Laura Notley has been appointed to the role of Business Affairs Co-ordinator.
In the role of Industry Affairs Executive O'Neill will work closely with the Head of Business Affairs/Deputy CEO, Teresa McGrane, on overall IFB policy and will drive one-off projects undertaken by the IFB to further strategic development. The role will encompass co-production certification, the development of new co-production treaties and will also include the collation and analysis of statistical data from the Irish Film industry.
O'Neill comes to this role with two years experience as the Business Affairs Co-ordinator at the IFB and over eight years experience in the international film industry. Patrick has previously worked in film production on several features including Song for a Raggy Boy and for sales company MR Films.
Laura Notley has been appointed to the role of Business Affairs Co-ordinator where she will be responsible for contracting documentary, completion and print provision funding. Notley brings over two years of legal experience with her to the IFB having previously worked with Philip Lee Solicitors. She joins the IFB from Philip Lee Solicitors on a temporary basis.
