Wohler Launches New Touch-Comm Multiviewer

The result of a strategic business partnership between Wohler Technologies Inc. and Intracom Systems LLC, Touch-Comm represents the latest product from the Touch-it line.
Touch-Comm consists of two touch screen control panels. The left touch panel displays up to 12 thumbnail video images. A simple touch to a thumbnail will route that source to an external monitor for enhanced viewing.
The right touch screen is the communication control panel of an IP-based matrix intercom system, which allows non-blocking, multichannel intercommunications between Touch-Comm users without geographical limitations.
Touch-Comm is dynamically configurable for any mixture of point-to-points, group calls and party lines.
Touch-Comm is highly interoperable with other communications systems including digital matrix systems, two-way radios and phone networks. The all-touch screen interface provides simple operation with minimal distraction and is intended for a wide range of video production, surveillance, public service and emergency command environments.
The newly announced Touch-Comm unit will be available either with an integrated microphone or a headset jack.
