'Private Practise' Gets Spin Doctor Treatment

Virgin Media’s Living Channel has acquired the exclusive UK rights to US medical drama spin-off 'Private Practise'.
The show follows former star of Grey’s Anatomy Addison Forbes, played by Kate Walsh, as she moves from Seattle to Santa Monica to start a new life in the spin-off from the ABC hit show.
The Disney-ABC International Television spin-off was the second highest rated new drama of the latest US TV season, behind Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, which will air on Virgin Media’s Virgin1 channel in the autumn.
Living will air the nine-part first series this summer with the second 13-part installment airing in 2009.
Virgin Media Television head of acquisition, Amy Barham said: "Private Practise is quirky, funny and touching and, with one of Grey’s most popular characters, Addison, starring, it already has a fabulous heritage."
