Wayne Young Gets Good Reception At Jampro Antennas

Jampro Antennas, a leading maker of antennas, combiners, filters and RF components used in radio and television broadcasting has announced that Wayne Young has joined the company in the newly created position of Regional Sales Manager for Canada and the Eastern United States.
Alex M. Perchevitch, President of Jampro commented: "We are delighted to have Wayne join the Jampro team to support our growing presence in this region. Wayne’s twenty-plus years of broadcast engineering experience, especially in the construction of broadcasting facilities and towers will be of significant benefit to Jampro customers in achieving timely, practical, cost-effective solutions."
Before joining Jampro, Young was Manager of Broadcast Services for Radian Communications Services, one of North America’s leading infrastructure and network development companies. While at Radian, Young managed the construction of over 150 FM sites in 30 states and supervised the construction of numerous terrestrial repeater sites for satellite radio expansion into Canada.
Young began his career in broadcasting with Newfoundland Broadcasting, rising to the position of Transmitter, Chief Engineer. Later, he was Engineering Manager for Rogers Media in Toronto, the seventh largest radio market in North America. At Rogers, Young managed the engineering group that supported CHFI and 680 News, Canada’s largest all news radio station. In addition, Young has been a Vice President of Construction for a major broadcasting general contractor and a Corporate Chief Engineer for a mid-market radio group.
