Taj TV Invest In Ross Switcher

Ross Video has announced that Taj TV Ltd., a leading sports television concern as well as a major facilities provider in Asia and the Middle East, has invested in a Synergy 3 Standard-Definition Production Switcher for its new 300 sq. ms studio located at their headquarters in Dubai Media City. Researching many switchers, Taj TV decided that Ross’ switcher, which offered full DVE options, was a key equipment piece for their new control room.
“We have experienced a massive increase in demand from prospective clients in the United Arab Emirates, and Ross listened to what we needed and delivered a solution,” said Steve Halis, Vice President of Operations, Engineering and MIS. “We went with the Synergy SD to meet our current needs, knowing we can go HD down the road when it becomes necessary.”
The Synergy SD series digital production switchers are multi-purpose switchers used to work in virtually any live production environment.Synergy offers a complete growth path to multi-definition with the Vision, MD and MD-X line of digital production switchers.
The Ross line now includes 23 different models of production switchers.
Ross continues to offer the Synergy SD (standard definition) and Synergy MD(multi-definition) production switchers along with the new Vision Series. A path for existing Synergy SD and MD customers to move to the Vision platform is available.
