Narrowstep Inc And TSS Cross Media Group Announce Partnership
Narrowstep Inc. and TSS Cross Media Group of Benelux has announced a strategic partnership to offer advanced Internet TV solutions for telecoms, broadcasters and advertisers to effectively monetize video content over the Internet.
"We are thrilled to be working with TSS. The interest from telecommunications companies, broadcasters and publishers to monetize video over the Internet with community features and functionality is tremendous. TSS has a great network of relationships and expertise in these markets and we are looking forward to building a strong and successful partnership,” said Barak Bar-Cohen, Senior Vice President of Narrowstep.
"Our partnership with Narrowstep is exciting and will compliment our expertise in interactive services - as an innovative provider of cross media solutions, Narrowstep's leadership in the video over the Internet space will provide tremendous opportunities for both of our companies," added Albert Treur, Director of Strategy & Business Development at TSS.
Narrowstep is based in London and New York, and provides the most comprehensive solution for managing, distributing and commercializing video on the Internet securely in TV-like quality. Narrowstep’s platform supports over 180 channels, with clients including some of the largest broadcasters and telecoms in the world including ITV Local, Virgin Media, the Sci-Fi Channel and Telefonica.
This partnership is part of Narrowstep’s overall strategy to extend its presence globally through a network of international resellers. These resellers allow companies and organizations in a host of markets throughout Europe to utilize Narrowstep’s video delivery platform, providing viewers with unique video content in the highest possible quality available over the Internet.
Earlier this year Narrowstep also formed a strategic alliance with Dutch telecom giant KPN to offer the world’s first wholesale Internet TV offering to their hundreds of world-class network operators, ISPs and content parties.
TSS is an independent company dedicated to the integration of telecom, Internet and broadcast technology with the goal of developing value-added cross media solutions for the international media and business markets. Amongst TSS’s extensive client list are Endemol, KPN Media, ProSiebenSat1, RTL Netherlands, SBS Broadcasting, Nickelodeon and Canal+ in the Netherlands, RTL in Germany and Discovery in Norway and Denmark.
