Eyeworks At It Produces Hit Music Show 'Transmission'

Channel 4’s flagship music show - Transmission with T-Mobile – reaches Glasgow on Friday 16 November. Film City - the 1887 built Govan Town Hall come state-of-the-art production studio - plays host to some of the hottest bands around!
For the series presenter Steve Jones makes his way up and down the country, hosting shows from unusual venues and serving up an even bigger helping of artists alongside the crème de la crème of UK and US celebrity guests.
In Glasgow, the show pays homage to the raft of home grown musical talent making waves across the UK. Amy McDonald, the Glasgow raised teen-sensation singer-songwriter will be delivering songs from her debut album – ‘L.A.’ - released this month. Another local band – Sons and Daughters – take to the stage with their fantastic live show that has seen them supporting Morrissey and Franz Ferdinand.
Chart-busting newcomers Scouting For Girls perform tracks from their debut album of the same name, including the hit ‘She’s So Lovely’.
Pete Doherty also turns up with his band Babyshambles to perform a rare set and joins Steve on the sofa for a frank chat about his year so far, along with The Mighty Boosh boys Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt.
The ever popular T-Mobile Street Gigs make a welcome return to this series as artists scour a city to find an intimate venue to host their very own exclusive gig where it’s all about the music. In Glasgow, Ayrshire band Biffy Clyro will play tour guide as they take viewers on a personalised trip around the city in search of the perfect venue, before performing hits from their number 2 charting album ‘Puzzle’, released earlier this year.
Transmission with T-Mobile is produced by Eyeworks At It. A leading Independent production company, Eyeworks At It is a producer of the best in music and entertainment programming in the UK and America.
