Brighton TV Named One Of Top 10 UK Facilities Houses

Sussex-based facilities house, Brighton TV has been voted by producers as one of the top 10 facilities houses in the UK, according to a survey conducted by industry magazine, Televisual.
Ranked 9th, Brighton TV is the only company from the South East to feature in the poll which is dominated by larger London post production houses. Only two companies from outside the capital feature in the survey.
Jon Lee, Brighton TV's Technical Director said: "This is a fantastic achievement for regional post-production. Brighton TV is able to provide a first-class service using state-of-the-art technology.
"This allows us to fulfill all of our clients' expectations and produce a service rivalling that of any London facilities house."
2007 has been an extremely successful year for Brighton TV. In September, the company announced it had secured a contract working for the internationally renowned High Definition DVD production and distribution company Opus Arte UK Ltd.
The contract came just weeks after the acquisition of one of the world's first Alchemist Ph.C HD standards converters. Brighton TV working in partnership with GearBox (Sound and Vision) acquired the state-of-the-art equipment to meet an increased demand for High Definition transfers. Previously, Sussex based company, Opus Arte UK Ltd, had to look to London for this gold standard service.
The facilities house has also undergone a significant expansion of its premises to accommodate an increasing number of clients across the UK.
