Irish Broadcaster RTE Order Two Newswift Vehicle-Mounted Satellite Antennas

Ireland's National broadcaster RTE is purchasing two Newswift satellite antennas from Advent Communications at IBC.
These are to be mounted on new Radio Communications vehicles. RTE already owns Newswift equipment and is increasing its Satellite Communications fleet.
The new order, finalised at IBC, is for two 1.2 metre Ku Band antenna systems with integrated RF and SSPA package.
Advent Communications is experiencing strong demand for the Newswift rapid deployment antenna. It is a highly compact system with a specially shaped offset feed antenna made from carbon fibre.
